Aaliyah Haughton became famous in 1994, when she dropped her first album Age Ain't nothing but the number. When she was just 15, the album achieved Gold status. The group was heavily in the style of R. Kelly, and helped put her in the spotlight. In 1996, she teamed up with Jermaine Dpri as well as Timbaland on her album, One In A Million, featuring the number one hit single If Your Girl Knew. However, she uses both Aarti Mann as well as Aarti Majumdar for her professional names. Her acting career started in the the mid 2000's, with a few parts in movies and TV. In addition to The Big Bang Theory her other most acclaimed works include Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). In addition, she was a part of several commercials including Volvo as well as other major auto brand names. She lives in Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actress.
