Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress who is best recognized for her role as a character in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as the Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea pa' que is enamored. Emeraude Toubia also is a skilled model and dancer. Born in Montreal, she was raised in Texas. Her entire life she has had a passion for performance. Since she was a child she was trained in various dance forms. Her first participation in beauty contests when she was the age of fifteen. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous when, in 2008 she was a contestant in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty contest. She began acting in 2010 in the role of an office receptionist in the Telemundo episode. The actress starred in Tattooed Love (2015), an action-oriented film.
