Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17th October, 1992 in the Indian state of is a film actress. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu cinema, along with a handful of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her performance in the role of actress Savitri. In addition, she received a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh happens to be the actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her career began in early 2000s when she was a child actor. She returned to film after completing her studies in fashion. In 2013, she was the leading role in Geethaanjali an Malayalam film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy's first film outside Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. It was not a success in the theater. The film she released was her debut, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. The film was not successful at the box-office. A busy schedule during 2015 meant that she had to opt out of films that she was developing, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to accommodate bigger projects. She worked in two films quickly, along with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also the leading actor in Prabhu's Thodari. In 2015, the film was delayed. Reports claim that Janakitho will be released in September of 2020. Subsequently, the first film to debut was in 2016's Nenu Sailaja which starred actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was cast opposite Vijay in Bairavaa by Bharathan that premiered on 17 January 2017.
