Summer Glau was an American actor who was famous for her role as River Tam in Firefly, a critically acclaimed television series. In addition, she portrayed Cameron in Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Selena began her career in music when she was eight years older. Her father started a band. Selena, her siblings Abraham junior and Sister Suzette were drummers. Selena sang for the group. Selena Y Los Dino, the group that she was in was known as Selena Y Los Dino. She would also perform in wedding fairs as well as restaurants. Selena along with her sisters as well as their parents worked hard in the band. They did not have any kind of childhood. However, Abraham was a strong advocate for them to become committed musicians through his dedication. Abraham senior was also a musician with the group that first formed, Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos officially began its existence in 1981. The band was a tradition of the family and the primary source of income for the family. Even though there were times of struggle initially with limited cash, the Quintanilla family stood firm and persevered in their endeavors to be a success group. Selena Y Los Dinos became very popular across the western states in the the end of the 1980s. Selena received the award for Female singer and performer at the Tejano Music Awards in 1986. From that point on Selena Y Los Dinos were among the top winners over and over again, and gained notoriety and fame. They appeared on many Spanish programming on television including El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre En Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
