Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. was director of a company that operates an online networking platform. She was raised in an elegant Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan in an elitist Catholic family. This is why her parents enrolled her in the Convent of the Sacred Heart which is a prestigious and exclusive school. It was a passion for her throughout her early years. She started playing the piano at the age of a little girl. At thirteen she penned her first tune. She was a part of open-mic night. The singers she likes the most are the Queen, Michael Jackson Madonna, and David Bowie. When she finished high school she attended the Tisch School of Art of New York University to study music. She did not complete her courses, but instead she left them behind to begin her music career.
